1. Which is better - Male or Female?
First let me say that "Little Boys Make Great Pets too!" While I love my girls, my boys have always been the first ones for
attention and the last ones to leave. Over the years people have been under the impression that male dogs display "Alpha"
behaviors such as humping or lifting their legs, and that females are easier to get along with and less work. I find this
amusing and sad at the same time. Ususally, a male neutered before learning to lift his leg, will never learn to lift his
leg and will squat just like a female!!!
These are such sweet little dogs, but at times dominance problems do arise. This is mainly between the girls. There
is always a Queen "B" as I affectionately call her. All bow down to them, even my boys.
2. My little puppy has started eating its own poop!
Relax, this does happen, your puppy learns from watching and during the time here how does mom clean up after these little
guys/gals? This is something some of them will do from seeing mom do it!
Encourage the puppy to walk away after going potty or remove him/her from it as soon as it goes and if your still discouraged
try a little Adolph's meat tenderizer on the food. It will make the poop taste really bad (like it doesn't already)! Do
this for about a week.
